Featured Trees:

Scotch Pines - The most popular Christmas tree in our area.  They have 1-3 inch long semi-hard needles and strong branches.  We have a nice selection of larger trees as they are fast growers......some nearing 10 feet tall.  If you are looking for a big tree for a great room...this is your tree.  We also have a nice selection in the 6-8 foot range.

Canaan Fir - Closely related to both the Fraser and Balsam Fir varieties, Canaan Firs are becoming more popular and are better suited for growing in Northwest Ohio.  They are very nicely shaped trees which require only minimal shearing.  They are a much more open tree then the pines allowing for easier decorating.  The needles are fairly short and soft.  The only drawback is that they have weaker branching and do not do well with heavy ornaments or the old fashioned lights.  These are the trees we prefer to use in our own home because they have such a nice shape.
Blue Spruce - Most popular of all spruces for ornamental use.  Color of needles ranges between a dark green and a silver-blue depending upon the particular plant soil conditions.  Has the largest needles of all the spruces.  Makes a strikingly beautiful Christmas tree....but boy are they picky....not for homes with small children!  Our blue spruces range from 4 - 6 feet this year with limited selection.
Norway Spruce - We have a very limited selection of Norway Spruces with their very short dark green needles.  They range from 4 - 7 feet.  Tag yours early.
We have planted some Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir in small quantities to test their tolerance in our climate.  So far they look pretty good, but we are a few years away from any marketable trees of these varieties.
